I shot this in downtown Boise across from the Idaho Building. I shot in RAW then did four conversions with varying exposures, then I merged them into an HDR file.
This was taken from my nephew Eric’s back porch. His property backs up to BLM land and so he has the most amazing views and the most dramatic wind and weather. (click on image to see the whole thing)
I stitched this panoramic of downtown Boise, Idaho together in Photoshop. It kinda looks like an HDR image, but it isn’t one. Right now, I’m sort of obsessed with doing panoramas and HDR images.
If you’re ever in downtown Boise, check out the alleyways. The most amazing things can be discovered when you leave the beaten path and let your curiosity guide you.
I took this picture while running through the Idaho building with my six year old son. We were escaping from the “bad guys” by using the stairwell instead of the elevator. Needless to say, we escaped unscathed.
